Globe Santa | Boston Photographer

So, where have I been lately? In addition to filling portrait orders and working on branding design, I have been busy shooting for The Boston Globe’s Globe Santa Foundation. Since 1956 Globe Santa has been helping children from the Greater Boston area have a happier holiday. Every dollar raised from events and donations goes toward buying holiday gifts for local kids. This year, the need is even greater, and I’m honored to be a part of this mission. Every day (and sometimes a couple times per day) I photograph Globe Santa around the city at different locations, greeting people and collecting donations with our celebrity helpers. I just love the connection here in the eyes.This is the image that made in the paper on Saturday. This little boy had his first encounter with Santa.Jimmy Tingle, local Boston comedian, came out to help Globe Santa drive donations in Harvard Square last weekend.He was quite enthusiastic ;)These two girls were headed to see The Nutcracker at Boston Opera House on Sunday and stopped to chat with Santa. I’m quite excited, I have tickets later this month to go see the show myself!This is the shot that made the paper on Monday.
