I had the absolute honor of photographing little Jacob last Spring. You may remember Jaclyn and Rob’s maternity session photographed at their home early last year – I’m so glad I could be their Beacon Hill newborn photographer. Jacob was one of the tiniest babies I have ever photographed hovering around just 5 pounds- such a peanut! He slept like a champ during our time together and curled up so nicely in the few props I brought along for our newborn session. I especially love the images in his daddy’s hands so you can see how small he really was. Thank you Jaclyn and Rob for choosing me to capture your family during this special time!
I met Jaclyn and Rob for their Beacon Hill maternity session after they received a gift certificate for a newborn session- I love meeting new clients this way- portraits are such a memorable gift- and not to sound cliche- they last a lifetime. They make great shower gifts too!
Obviously you can see that they are a beautiful couple – Jaclyn was glowing and totally rocked the session (and I happen to know they make cute babies as photographed their little one shortly after too!). We started off with some studio pregnancy portraits of Jaclyn, and then with her hubby too. We moved to the couch and to the bedroom for a variety of looks. I have been incorporating more and more lifestyle images into my sessions lately and I love that each persons home is new to me and different, it really personalizes our time together.
I’m often asked when the best time to schedule maternity portraits is – I like to photograph expecting moms between 30-34 weeks – that way you have a nice round belly but are still able to move around comfortably :) If you are looking for a Boston pregnancy photographer for your own maternity session this Winter or Spring please get in touch!
On a lovely Fall evening I met up with Sam and Matt and their adorable pug Fred at Horn Pond in Woburn for an engagement session. I already knew how awesome Sam is from the gym, and her fiancé Matt is such a sweetie. We spent our time together wandering along paths through the woods with lots of laughs. Horn Pond is a special spot for them because that’s where Matt popped the big question over the Summer- so of course I made sure to capture a few special images on the red bridge where he proposed! I had never been to Horn Pond before but I’m so glad they introduced the area to me and I’ll certainly be back! The foliage was on point and provided some wonderful colors for their engagement portraits. Sam & Matt- so happy to be your wedding photographer- looking forward to York next May!
