I’m so excited to share the images from one of my favorite newborn sessions to date – for my dear friends Erin & Phil. We did a combination studio and lifestyle newborn session – something I’ve been loving with clients lately! I have been so lucky to see Jack a couple times per week since he was born and watch him grow-its hard to believe Jack is nearly 4 months old now! Time to update these pictures :) But in the meantime its so nice to look at his newborn portraits and remember how fresh and new he was that first week home from the hospital. Here are just a few(!) of my favorites.

This past weekend I hosted a baby shower for one of my dearest friends, Erin. I’ve known her since the 6th grade and can’t believe she’ll have a little boy in a matter of days! (and I can’t WAIT to find out the name- its killing me!) A wonderful group of ladies came over to celebrate and snack and of course, its not a party without cake! I put my scrap bin to good use and sewed up a sweet little bunting topper anchored with striped straws. It was so fun to cut into the cake and surprise Erin with its ombre insides -not to mention it was downright tasty with homemade cream cheese icing!

Unfortunately I was busy playing hostess I forgot to take many photos – thanks to DomestikatedLife for a snap of the mimosa bar – assorted juices and champagne with sparkling cider for mama :)

Proud parents :) I cannot wait to meet the little guy soon!

If you head on over to Style Me Pretty Living today you’ll find some images I shot earlier this month of a Crafting & Cocktails party hosted along with Domestikated Life and The Little Flower Cottage. Is there anything better than making cards with your besties, listening to Christmas music (that’s you Mariah Carey), and sipping on delicious bourbon cocktails? Oh perhaps nibbling on cheese and macaroons? Don’t worry, we did that too. And I happily documented along the way so you can live vicariously through our Sunday Funday.

Do yourself a favor and grab the recipe for a Cran-bourbon Fizz over at Domestikated Life today.

I’m sharing my favorite images from our afternoon below, but head on over to Style Me Pretty to check out the rest of the gallery!
