I’m thrilled to say the Autumn inspiration shoot I photographed in collaboration with The Little Flower Cottage and Domestikated Life is featured on Style Me Pretty Living today. Piles of apples, the spicy scent of cinnamon, and pretty rustic blooms made for the perfect Autumn afternoon with friends. Can’t forget the delicious cocktails! Sharing some of my personal favorite images below but click here to view the whole post on the Style Me Pretty Blog.

What a treat to be able to photograph an engagement session in Salem! Even though I’m just 30 minutes away I had never been to Salem before and it is so adorably New England! A great town to walk around and explore in and perfect for Sheri & Kyle as they live in an adorable condo downtown.

I met Sherri back in college through a mutual friend, and even was her roomate for a few short months (hi pink house!). She is (obviously) gorgeous and has the most infectious laugh – you can’t help but smile while you are around her. Kyle is so friendly and laid back and was actually a groomsmen in Bekah & Bobby’s wedding in Stowe, Vermont.

We chatted while walking around the cute streets of Salem and headed over to Winter Island Park to finish up the session by the water. They are getting married tomorrow in York, Maine and I can’t wait to photograph the wedding! Congratulations Sheri & Kyle- so excited for you guys!

Picket Fences? I die.

This shot I had posted on Facebook as a sneak peek- I had asked them to lean in for a kiss and a little boy came by and said ‘ewwww kissing’- such a hilarious moment!

Sometimes I feel like that cobbler- you know the one who’s children don’t have any shoes? I take beautiful images for clients and their families and I almost never take my camera anywhere just for me anymore- I’m all about the Instragram these days. So this past weekend I had a rare moment of a completely clear calendar and decided to pick up my camera and play.

My good friend Kate blogs over at Domestikated Life and we had a little ‘Sunday Funday’ and whipped up some cocktails and apps. Well, she cooked and I documented :) You can find the recipes for the delicious blueberry mint cocktail and goat cheese crostini over on her blog.

I’m sharing some of my favorite images of our afternoon- and vowing to pick up my camera more ‘just because’.
