…of equipment! Less than a week ago, I was blessed with a new arrival- a Canon 5D with a full-frame sensor, my new camera is beautiful! After a few impatient days of UPS tracking the 5D (and 24-70L lens!) is finally mine. Of course I had to go take it for a test drive, so I donned my gear and set out for the streets of Boston. I was amazed at the field of view and I kept looking up up up towards the tops of buildings. (of course the last three days I haven’t been able to see them at all because of the rain!)

My little documentary walk was also important to me because I’ll be packing up in two short weeks and moving back to Vermont for 6 months. I needed a few new city-life theme prints for my space in VT. Anyways, enough talk of my new baby, let me share the fruits of my labor :)

Sherry, and her husband John, and their beautiful daughter Madeline met me in the Boston Commons this morning for our session. One thing we all know about 2 year olds, they are bound and detirmined to keep you on your toes! Madeline is quite a climber and discovered…. the playground. Walking through the tree lined paths, we ended up over in the Boston Public Gardens to watch the ducks. If you didn’t look up at the skyline, you’d never guess you were in the middle of a city.
