And by that- I mean the Champlain Valley Fair.

It was SO refreshing to go to the fair. Besides indulging in corn dogs and fried dough, the colors and sounds at the fairgrounds are invigorating.

I love making portraits, capturing family moments, and spending time with my clients- but tonight my creativity was flowing because it was all about me! I wandered around the midway without a plan, looking for beautiful light- and it was the perfect night.

So soak up the whimsical colors and enjoy a bit of fair fun…

  • Lu - I have not been to the fair in years. Your pictures really do make me want to go.

  • Angie - I love the fair images! How fun! You did an amazing job showing the spirit of what fairs are all about.

  • Beth Naranjo - Stunning, as per usual. I’m glad I checked into your blog today-I needed some INSPIRATION!

Going by the Champlain Valley Fair this week? Be sure to stop into the art pavillion and check out two of my pieces on display! I’m excited to announce “In my Father’s Arms” has taken 3rd place in the “Photographer’s Choice” category and “Boston’s Esplanade” has recieved Honorable Mention in the special “Cityscapes” category.

I haven’t been by yet, but looking forward to my annual fair visit this year!
